Not only do alcoholism and drug addiction lead to adversely affected and destroyed lives, but unrealized dreams as well. Many who suffer from addiction had hopes of what they wanted to do with their lives, including going to school, but those ambitions got thwarted by the presence and progression of their disease. St. Christopher's Addiction Wellness Center is offering the S.A.G.E. program to help our clients realize their dreams of obtaining education from a major university, local community college, technical college or an on-line college while in treatment.
Finding the appropriate school, deciding what courses are available, enrolling in classes... these tasks can be confusing and chaotic. St. Christopher's helps to eliminate the confusion by guiding our clients through these tasks. We assist with the process of obtaining career evaluation / educational testing, admissions, school functioning (tutoring, etc.) and transfers. We serve as a liaison between the client and the academic institution

Confidentiality Statement - As per Federal Confidentiality Regulations: all records, information and communications shall remain strictly confidential, except under the following circumstances: 1.) To authorized medical personnel, if a medical emergency exists, 2.) If the individual is a danger to themselves or others, 3.) Suspected instances of child abuse or neglect may exists, 4.) The individual or responsible party signs a release of information. Any violation of Federal Confidentiality Law and Regulations may be reported to the United States Attorney for the Judicial District in which the violation occurs.
