Recovery Home Program
St. Christopher’s Recovery Home program is a continuation of Extended Care, the portion in which clients gain employment, attend school or participate in volunteer work while simultaneously progressing through the program's therapeutic structure. We have a distinct track for our older adult clients who have significant life experience and wish to return to their existing lives pursuing a sober lifestyle.
St. Christopher’s Recovery Homes are available to any male who has stabilized by means of primary treatment. We believe in the long term recovery process and encourage individuals to join us in that process. We provide this Recovery Home program for the individual who wishes to increase his chance for long term sobriety and gain the skills vital for his survival, productivity, fulfillment and happiness. We have a variety of tracks a client may take which lead him to freedom living.

Educational and Employment Programs:
Continuing the pursuit of a high school diploma or college degree is an integral part of the continuum of treatment at St. Christopher's. As we develop treatment plans with our residents, assisting the individual with completing their educational plans and goals as they relate to recovery is an important focus of treatment.
We believe the educational component of recovery is so important that we have a certified teacher on our staff. Success in education assists the individual toward success in life and we know that happy successful people have an easier time remaining sober than unhappy, unsuccessful people.
The treatment plan for all residents who do not have a high school diploma will include obtaining a diploma as a part of the criteria to graduate from St. Christopher's.
Residents who have obtained a High School Diploma and/or College Degree are required to maintain full-time employment in the community. Interview Coaching and basic employment skills are provided in the program. Residents who are attending school part-time may have the opportunity, with staff approval, to obtain part-time employment.
** Clients who are medically stable and have completed a recognized and credentialed residential or primary treatment program elsewhere are welcome to join us in our Extended Care / Recovery Home Programs. Please call our Admissions Office at 877-782-4747 for information. **
