IOP Houma
St. Christopher's Intensive Outpatient Program in Houma is offered to anyone who is motivated for recovery and does not meet medical criteria for detoxification in a residential treatment program. IOP can also be used as a step down in treatment intensity for clients who have completed a primary treatment program.
Our IOP meets three (3) times per week in the evening for eight (8) weeks. If a client works off-shore or in a related field that requires time away, the treatment schedule can be adapted to meet this need. St. Christopher's Intensive Outpatient Program is grounded in the proven tradition of the Spiritual Principles of Alcoholics Anonymous.
This treatment method is proven to change lives for the better. Our clients will be asked to participate in the following therapeutic settings:
- Group Counseling
- Individual Counseling
- Groups for both Men and Women
- Family Group
All groups are lead by Licensed Counselors.
Our clients will be asked to attend 12 Step meetings (off-site).
OUTPATIENT TREATMENT SERVICES
At St. Christopher's Addiction Wellness Center, we also offer Outpatient Counseling Services for individuals who do not meet the criteria for Intensive Outpatient treatment. Clients with stable recovery programs and living environments can do well at this level of care. We offer:
- Individual Counseling
- Family and Couples Counseling
